About

David Hook

I’m the guy behind Dull Boy — a one-man workshop obsessed with custom motorcycles and hand-laid paint.

Every bike starts as an idea and becomes a one-off machine. I start by sketching and planning as many details as possible before I even touch the bike. I handle the metalwork, fabrication, upholstery, assembly, and paint in-house, working on bobbers, scramblers, choppers, and café racers — primarily Harley-Davidson based, but not limited to them.

The paint is done the old way: brush, spray and lettering by hand. Each tank, helmet or fender gets its own character.

If you want a bike built or a paint job done, get in touch and let’s talk about your project.
